Taylor Leah Bright
Taylor L. Bright is a qualified teacher with over twenty years of experience and a deep love for
early childhood education. A mother of three, she brings warmth, creativity, and real life understanding to
her work with children and families. Her teaching journey has taken her across the United Kingdom, the United
States, and Hungary, shaping a broad and thoughtful view of how children grow, communicate, and learn.
This first language book was created from Taylor’s own experience both as a teacher and as a language
learner. Through years of working with children and learning a new language herself from scratch, she observed
what truly helps the brain learn and what often creates unnecessary pressure and fear. Drawing on science,
classroom practice, and lived experience, she designed a playful language learning approach that supports
understanding, confidence, and joyful participation rather than memorisation or anxiety.
At the heart of Taylor’s work is a clear goal: to remove fear from learning a new language, especially when
it comes to speaking. She believes children learn best when they feel safe, curious, and encouraged, and when
language is experienced through stories, play, and meaningful connection.
A Christian for over fifteen years, Taylor writes with purpose, care, and a strong belief in
nurturing the
whole child. This book is the first in a series designed to make language learning feel natural, fun, and
empowering for young learners and their families.
